Time Management Is The Key To Personal Efficiency
Managing your personal and working time is one of the most challenging tasks of today's professionals. Life these days is so intense and complicated, business is so competitive, and a stream of information overwhelms us. Consider the internet, market globalization (when it is time for you to go home, the overseas branch is just beginning its day and, of course, they have a number of urgent questions), growing work requirements, and having to constantly increase your level of knowledge, you are starting to realize that there is no time for a personal life. There is even no time to think because the boss demands that you "do" your job faster and faster so he can beat the competitors. The employment classes confuse us with recommendations like "make a daily plan and follow it" but how can we follow it when ten urgent questions constantly rise up and we have to solve them before we get to the plan. We need something on our hands to be able to deal with all this. That is when the time management knowledge becomes very important. But then we struggle with another problem – the variety of time management information. The variety of new time management guides and theories are just confusing us and we don't have time to read all of them.Time management is not just a skill; it is a way of life. And only with this kind of attitude is it possible to find the time not only for work but for a personal life too. There is the common belief that time management is basically just creating project plans, charts, and following them. Those things actually cause the problems with the work schedule because they don't count on a lot of factors – "time killers" those that can't be expected by using the common project planning tools.Lately, I've read about some new concepts in time management. The key idea of these concepts is to be able to create a balance of accomplishments in your life and work. In time management, it is important to use both order, and chaos. (You can read more about these new concepts on my blog) Before you start creating your own project plan, it won't hurt to observe yourself for a couple weeks and catch what kinds of things happen and why they are killing your precious time that you miss so much.Based on this concept there are multiple layers in time management: controlling personal time, strategic time planning, tactics to manage yourself and others to achieve goals, and learn how to use the time management tools on a corporate level. Also we have to be familiar with different programs and technical tricks to organize your personal and work time, including organizing the time of people that you encounter at work and after work. Start this process from yourself and then spread it to other people that surround you.Sounds kind of complicated, doesn't it? As I mentioned before, this is a totally new time management concept.Time Management can't be selective. This is either a way of life or a constant fight with emergency situations. This time management concept demands a fundamental change in the way we handle business right now but at the end we will be rewarded correspondingly to our spent efforts and desire. The stated general principles and approaches of these new time management concepts are definite for everybody but the choice of tools is personal to everyone. If you would like to know more about new time management concepts and rules please visit http://www.welcome-to-self-improvement.com/blog/Willie Krut is the core provider of a selection of self help products that truly help people to improve their life, health and career. Time Management - Controlling
In order to manage anything that involves our self it is required to have control of our lives and self. Indeed it is impossible to control over anything, but we all have a degree of control over most things that involve us. When we are strategizing a time management scheme, we have to factor in all details of life because all things in life affect us in some way.
Albeit many people think that it is so, time management is far from a quick process. You will notice this, once you start your calculations. Especially when you are alone in time management the road can be rocky. For this problem time management has its own stop, go, and yield signs. In order to start a time management plan you need to calculate and analyze your plan carefully to weed out flaws, evaluating where your time is spent. The beginning process of controlling time management is to calculate time with factors like family and work. Moreover you have to calculate problem areas like troubles with your computer that may arrive. You regard this by calculate large and small disasters into the equation of time management. But when you have done this the process, you have not finished for a long time yet.The fact is that there is no end to managing time, because we have to include personal factors. When we calculate time management, we must include details such as, entertainment, relaxing and everything that makes us who we are. If you are spending too much time in one area, you can cut back time by spending more time in important areas. For example, if it takes you a long time in the morning to get motivated you have to think about why is it taking me such a long time? In the majority of cases this is caused by a desideration of preparation. Now, to win back time you will need to think! Why is it taking me so long to get dressed in the morning? When you are searching through your closet trying to find a suit the solution is taking a few minutes each night to pick your suit fore the next day, so that when you get up in the morning you only need to dress. If you are spending for example 45 minutes dressing, you are wasting time. If you do not waste time, we can subtract at least 30 minutes from dressing and move forward to other areas in our life where our time is either spent well, or wasted. The question coming up is: What are you doing at work? Are you chatting online with someone, or standing around drinking coffee? If your workday looks like this, you are not only wasting company time, you are wasting your time. As long as you do not have a goal in mind, this is not a controlling way in time management.Johannes Nefischer is a successful Business Consultant and publisher of

Chinese Gooseberries and Oprah?
Oprah and Harpo Productions, consistently reap awe-inspiring progress and record-breaking profits even after 25 years. While Oprah consistently soars with stellar growth, the rest of the industry seems to stumble, tumble or even disappear. So, just what is it about Oprah that has her consistently reaping hilacious growth for more than two decades and still remain fresh and vivacious as ever? Oprah Winfrey has reinvented herself so smoothly, so successfully and with such precision, very few have consciously noticed! I believe Oprah is aware of the fact that annuals are-by nature-dormant for seasons at a time. She innovatively capitalizes on this truth and remains a "perennial classic."You Grow, Girl! Oprah consistently manifests phenomenal growth professionally, intellectually, spiritually, financially and socially every "season" of her year. Whereas others, seem content to rely primarily on the harvest of their "falls." Oprah is not only acutely aware of her environment, but she plans (and plants) so well, so meticulously ... she evens reaps harvests during her "winters!"What's Inside Really Never Changes! Chinese gooseberries didn't sell well at all until they were renamed, Kiwi fruit. Seemingly overnight, this humble, quaint-looking, fuzzy fruit was "reinvented" into an exotic, all-of-a-sudden-much-desired, green intricacy. The "Queen of Personality" went from "The Oprah Winfrey Show," to "Oprah!" and now owns O! magazine. Her reinventions are powerful, yet short and simple. But her core and all that's inside, has never been compromised. The Key to Reinvention is Real Simple. Keep it short; but powerful! Even Einstein kept it down to:E= mc2 (yet he reinvented and rocked the science world). Tend to Your Garden; But Don't Pull Up All the Roots! Don't limit yourself to just replanting your life. Learn how to identify which sections need to be up-rooted; which sections need to be cultivated and which sections need to be left alone. Now, while you're reading this, Oprah is hard at work cultivating her next "row." Isn't it time you got busy, too?Fran Briggs is the founder of The Fran Briggs Companies and is "a motivational speaker of the inspirational kind." Reach Your Goals - Give Yourself A Gold Star
Give yourself a gold star
Remember how rewarding it was in grade school to get back an assignment with a gold star sticker or some other tangible acknowledgement of a job well done? Well you can apply the same psychological boost to your goal-based activities today!
Sure, you could go about this in the literal sense, adding a sticker or some other item that makes you smile, such as a rubber stamp, to your daybook, calendar or goal-tracking sheet as a way to reinforce your successes. But why not get creative and offer yourself a more fitting reward? After all, you're a grown up now and your rewards should reflect this.
Ideas include:
Treat yourself to your favorite pastry or specialty coffee that you resist indulging in regularly.
Get a shirt or hat custom embroidered or screen printed (it's actually fairly inexpensive to do this) that reflects your successes. For example, your hat may sport a self-created logo for your goal, to be worn while actively engaged in goal-achievement activities. Or a shirt may have a message like "Ask me about my success!" to encourage others to help you pat yourself on the back.
Give yourself a motivational award. Businesses do this all the time with "Employee of the Month" mugs and recognition pins, certificates, gift pen sets, etc. These items are available fairly inexpensively at motivation gift stores and websites. Even better, present it to yourself at a fancy dinner (in or out) complete with a short acceptance speech thanking all the "little people" (your friends and family who are dining with you) that made it all possible. Want more fun? Do this for every major milestone on the way to your success!
Purchase some brightly colored window paint markers (available at any auto-parts store or department) and paint inspiring or congratulatory slogans, such as "Oh yeah, who's your daddy!" or "I'm number 1!" on the windows of your home and or vehicle, where you will see them often. Bonus points for painting it big enough to read from across the street - on the big picture window out front!
Buy a face painting or temporary tattoo kit (henna works also) and tattoo yourself with congratulatory or inspirational messages. Better yet, become your biggest fan and paint your whole face up, sports-fan style, in your favorite colors - and root for the home team (that's you) all day long.
Decorate a special dessert (cake, dessert pizza, big cookie, etc) in a congratulatory or inspirational theme with icing, sprinkles, etc. Set your creation in front of your plate to admire all through dinner.
Create a boosting, "rah-rah" set of email messages (or just one that repeats) and load them into an auto-responder mailing program. There are many available on the web, and some are free (their ads appear in your email). "Opt in" to this self-created newsletter of support and at pre-determined intervals, you'll find these little "fun-sized candy bars for the soul" in your inbox.

Your Own Worth Should be Worth Success
Read these four simple steps that reveal how to get into the habit of being persistent. The average person can easily learn and practice these all-important steps.1. Always know exactly what you want and allow your whole being to strive, without wavering, to follow the path to fulfilling your plan.2. Design a good plan and don't let it lie dormant for any waking moment.3. Develop the ability to turn away, avoid and become oblivious ever you encounter negative thoughts, influences and suggestions.4. Associate yourself with those who know and will support you in your decision to carry on. Support is a great "picker-upper".HOW MUCH IS A GOOD ALIBI WORTH?If I only had enough money... If I only had more time... If other people only understood me... If I had no fear, what would they say... If I was only given a chance... If I only had the talent to do what I want to do... If I dared to stand up and assert myself... If my family only understood me... If I could just get started... If someone would just give me a break... If I only knew where to find out all about it... If I knew how, everything would be so easy... If good luck came my way, I'd be rich... If more people would only listen to me... If I had the right education... If I had been given a better chance... If I could meet the right people... If I didn't have to take care of the house and kids If I had someone to help me, I could get started... If only I had the personality to start a business... If I didn't owe so much money... If I only knew how to do it... If I were sure of myself, I would start tomorrow... If I had a business of my own, I'd have it made.IF... you're truly a sincere person... do you really have the courage to see yourself as you really are?Copyright 2004 by DeAnna SpencerDeAnna Spencer is a virtual assistant that helps entrepreneurs run a successful business by providing affordable administrative help. It's Your World--Own It
Hello,You are reading this article because you are one of those rare people who really
want the best life possible for yourself and those you care about.A Generalization About SuccessNow, you might feel it unfair for me to describe you as "rare" when it comes to
wanting the very best that life offers. And yet, for well over twenty-one years I have
been in the position of professionally helping people to change their lives for the
better. Whether in the past working as a "Psychotherapist," or now as a "Life and
Business Coach," I have clearly seen that there are those who want things to get
better-- if it does not require "too much" from them…and then there are those who
are willing to design, and actually do the work, of building a life that is rarely seen
or experienced! To be sure, these are generalizations, and in my experience, fair
ones.Yes, there are many factors that go into how and why some people succeed on
levels that others reach for and never seem to grasp. For instance, skills are
important. Before you learned the fundamentals of riding your bike, you could not
ride your bike, for all practical purposes. And, now that we are thinking about it,
what actually got you up on your bike for that first thrill of a ride?Your Desire Is The Place To StartWas it not a desire that reached a point where you began to build in the necessary
skills to actually riding a bike? Meaning, you found yourself wanting to learn
something that would be rewarding in and of itself, and more than that, the thrill
and independence of taking yourself where you wanted to go. Wanting it enough
that you took the next step of acquiring skill and practice in your new endeavor.
No longer were you just a little kid anymore! You took a step into owning your
world at that time! No longer did you have to just stand by and watch others doing
what they wanted to do, and going where they wanted to go! No longer did you
have to watch someone else disappear around the block, waving to you with glee as
they picked up speed. Remember the "Look Ma, no hands!" That's right! Mastery
on a whole new level. And what fun!Myths About Life and SuccessNow who said that life is difficult? I believe it was a certain psychiatrist…who was
finding his own life difficult…and projected that onto the rest of humanity! And I
fell for that at the time! I bought his book when it arrived on the scene a little over
25 years ago, and I bought the writers beliefs about life being difficult. Beliefs
about how difficult it would be for me to change my behaviors, my beliefs, and
beliefs about how long it would take for me to get what I most wanted. After all,
"change is difficult," according to most "people helpers." I never stopped to ask,
"whose life is difficult?" "When is life difficult for them?" "How might they
themselves be making their own lives difficult?" "Where did they learn to do that?"
"From whom?"You, Success and LearningThat is until I learned otherwise. Until I realized that life is all about learning, and
that learning can be fun and easy. And what do you think happened when I really
understood that all behavior is learned. Period. And the more we learn useful
behaviors, useful skills, useful beliefs and values, the easier "life" becomes. The
more "flow" we experience. So, who do you want to listen to? Who do you want to
model? Someone who learned somewhere along the way to make their life difficult,
or someone who learned how to design and build the life they truly desire, having
fun along the way?The unfortunate thing is that learning to make life less than fun and easy is
something that most people learn to do unconsciously, on an ongoing basis. They
are simply modeling those around them that have learned how to make their life
into something they did not want in the first place. This is quite unintentional, for
the most part, with all concerned.Intentions, Choices and ConsequencesRemember that consequences do not concern themselves with intentions, good or
otherwise. Consequences are built into each choice we make, each behavior pattern
we develop. To change the consequences we experience, to alter the circumstances
we have been living with, we ourselves must change. And it really is not a matter of
"must," as it is a matter of "can" and "I have the opportunity and the capability to
change!" Knowing that when we change, all else changes with us. Our
circumstance change, those around us change. Period. Now, the ultimate change is to go from reacting to that which is all around us…to
waking up to the fact that each one of us can own our own respective worlds…
worlds that we are in fact creating, choice by choice, behavior upon behavior. And,
in waking up and taking ownership of our world, we end up creating a world
altogether different and more pleasurable and rewarding than the world we have
lived in up to this point. Is this what you truly desire? There is a litmus test for differentiating what you truly
desire vs. what you just say you desire. (More on that in another coaching letter.)
For now, take a moment or two to get a feel for and envision what your life would
evolve into as you learn to own your world. Very few human beings will get
themselves to the level I am speaking about. Will you? Tiger Woods decided
sometime back that he was going to own the world of golf, to make it his world. A
few others have done the same. Now, Tiger Woods did not get there by himself. He
has been quite outspoken about the role his coach has played in his taking charge
of his game and his world. Perhaps you can do it on your own. After all, isn't the
"game of life" easier to master than the game of golf?!Chart Your Own PathIf you follow the masses of people, you will end up where the masses end up. Or
you can decide to chart your own path, along with like-minded individuals. This
way, along the way, you can be your own person, while sharing the joys and
challenges of life with others who will support who you are and what you truly
desire, as you will have the privilege to do with them. Life is meant to be shared,
and we can do that in a manner that enhances all of us, on individual levels and
collective levels. A community that reflects shared values and deep respect is a
powerful force for the better. You can continue to listen to those who have learned to make life difficult for
themselves, or you can learn from those who are learning just how enjoyable it all
can be. You might have some questions on your mind…give me a call. Or you
might want to e-mail me and let me know what is on you mind. Give me a call or e-
mail me today. You can reach me at 678-778-9012 or at:

A Vision for Success
Do you know that there is a formula for attaining material success? Indeed, there is.My research has shown that people have gained material prosperity by following certain strategies, especially for projects requiring a large investment of up to $10 million with a short time frame for completion, i.e. one year. The choice of the right team with the required know-how and expertise and the correct choice of location for its execution are essential for the successful completion of the project. The next most crucial aspect will be the right leadership and management, since the person in charge will provide the motivating force. Such positive catalysts are the soul of the project, since the people who are fully committed, will invest not only their expertise but also their hopes, desires, energy and concentration. A manager who has a vision, will be fully dedicated and focused on the successful completion of the project.A vital factor that can mean success or failure is the harmony among the managerial team. The greater the harmony, the greater are the chances of success. The right choice can only be made by a great insight into the human personality. And for that a sensitivity for the talents of people hired is a must. It is my belief that if there is even one person who disagrees with the strategies and techniques employed by others, this will reduce the chances of success considerably. The manager has to be a uniting force to motivate others to get the job done efficiently and successfully.Timing is another pertinent ingredient that must not be ignored. Wrong timing can mean higher costs or more wastage of precious time. In case of a $10 million movie project, the personalities, that is the main actors, must be able to deliver what the script warrants or it will be a flop. The audience in this case will be the sole judge. It must be emphasized here that success in a project is largely dependent upon the expertise of the team plus the vibrational harmony among the people involved. It is team work. Without the full cooperation of all the individuals involved the project will not be successful. Many a movie was started and never made it to the screen.
